Stützpunktgruppe Castricum
Stützpunktgruppe Castricum has much similarities with its neighbour Schoorl. Firstly, most remaining fortifications are build in a light construction as well. Secondly, the amount of bunkers that are left seem to be more or less the same. Thirdly, the Landfront looks the same as it comes to length and setup. Particularly Resistance Nests W.N. 28 and W.N. 49 are the most interesting sites in our opinion. However, a museum can be visited in Strongpoint XIX what for sure makes it an interesting site as well.
The remaining Landfront which can be followed has a good variety, with parts of anti-tank wall, anti-tank ditch and dragon teeth obstacle (Höcker).
