Bretagne

In Bretagne bunkers are to be found all along the coast starting at the city of Saint-Malo, following the rocky Pink Granite Coast passing Roscoff, and following again further west for the port cities of Brest and Lorient, to be ending near the Quiberon peninsula. The area consisted of 5 Stützpunktgruppen, the city of Saint-Malo, Brest and Lorient received the status of Festung, because of the important ports they held. From the ports of Brest and Lorient submarines controlled the Atlantic, the massive bunkers built for this purpose all still remain. The cities are absolute highlights as it comes to fortifications.
