Hauts-de-France

In this region bunkers were mainly concentrated around the city of Dunkerque, Calais, Boulogne sur Mer, and stretched along the coast further down south to the Somme Bay. The area consisted of 2 Stützpunktgruppen, 2 Festungen and 1 Verteidigungsbereich. It holds many interesting sites, specially the region between Calais and Boulogne sur Mer, because of the high number of resistance nests, strongpoints and heavy batteries built here.
